This Privacy Policy explains how Jevimi handles information when you use the app. You can use Jevimi without creating a user account. The photos, saved previews, and journal entries you choose to save with the wall-study tools stay on your device.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to the iOS app and related support communications. It does not apply to Apple services or other third-party services governed by their own privacy terms.
Camera and AR Processing
The app uses camera access to identify wall surfaces and place a virtual frame in your surroundings. Camera images and AR scene information are processed on your device for the live preview. The app does not upload the live camera feed to our servers.
When you choose to save a wall study, the app creates a snapshot of the wall and virtual frame and stores that image locally on your device. In the Wall journal, Take a room photo uses the camera only when you choose that action and saves the resulting reference photo with your study. You can decline camera access; a live scan or room photo then will not be available, but you can still open previously saved studies.
Photos and Content You Choose
You may select a photo with Apple's photo picker to display inside a virtual frame. The selected photo is used for the requested preview and, if you save the study, is kept in the app's local files. The wall-study tools do not upload that photo to our service.
Browse artwork photos in the Wall journal asks for Photos access so you can choose an inspiration image. You may grant access to your full library or a limited selection, change that choice in iOS Settings, or decline access. The chosen image is copied into the study's local files. Depending on your iCloud Photos settings, Apple may first download a selected item to your device. The journal does not upload the chosen image to our service.
Voice Notes and Written Reminders
Record voice note asks for microphone access when you start recording. You can save a note of up to 45 seconds with a wall study, replace or remove it, or cancel before saving. Saved recordings and written reminders remain in the study's local storage; the wall journal does not upload them to our service. If you decline microphone access, you can still use the other journal controls.
Basic Device and Platform Information
The wall-study tools may receive limited technical information made available by iOS when needed to operate permissions, display content, or diagnose a failure. Apple may separately process device and diagnostic information under Apple's own policies.
Attribution and App Measurement
Jevimi uses Adjust to understand installation attribution and basic app events. This may involve an app or device identifier, app version, attribution details, event data, and diagnostic information. These signals do not include wall-study photos, room references, inspiration images, written reminders, or voice notes.
How Information Is Used
Information handled by the app is used to:
- detect wall surfaces and provide an AR preview;
- display the photo, frame, mat, and size choices you select;
- save and display wall studies on your device;
- measure app usage and installation attribution; and
- respond to support requests you choose to send.
Local Storage and Retention
Saved artwork photos, wall snapshots, room references, inspiration images, voice notes, written reminders, and related frame settings remain in the app's local storage until you delete the saved study, replace an item, remove the app, or erase the relevant device data. Deleting a study normally removes its associated local media. iOS backups and copies in your Photos library are managed separately under Apple's settings. We do not operate a cloud account system for restoring wall studies.
Service Providers and Platform Services
The wall-study tools rely on Apple technologies such as iOS, ARKit, Photos, and the photo picker. Adjust provides attribution and measurement. These providers may process information for those purposes under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information or use your wall-study photos, notes, or recordings for advertising.
Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to local app storage, including iOS application storage and system permission controls. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and backups.
Your Choices
You can decline camera, Photos, or microphone access, although the corresponding capture or browsing feature will not work. You can change those permissions in iOS Settings, limit Photos access to selected items, delete individual wall studies in the app, or remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the app.
Children's Privacy
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, legal requirements, or platform practices. The revised policy will show a new last-updated date.
